Lately talk of torture has turned, on the conservative/Republican side to the efficacy of the "program.' Ex-Veep Dick Cheney says, "release all the documents to show that 'enhanced interrogation' produced results." Others have echoed that - Mukasey and Hayden in an op-ed. Does it matter? Does effectiveness rule the day? Do the "ends justify the means?"
